DOW CORNING^Ò 8888 is a one-part, neutral cure, flowable sealant that cures to a tough rubbery solid at room temperature on exposure to air.

 

Specifically designed to seal the metal base-plate arrangement on clothes irons, however product may also suit other applications where a flowable, heat resistant 1-part sealant is required.

1.     Thoroughly clean and degrease surface to be sealed.

2.     Apply the sealant as supplied; tooling should be completed within 5-10 minutes.

3.     Cures inward from the surface; cure rate increases with humidity, temperature and ventilation.

 

This product is neither tested nor represented as suitable for medical or pharmaceutical use.

When stored at or below temperature 25°C in the original unopened containers this product has a shelf life of 6 months from the date of shipment from Dow Corning.
