Food plants often require a "food grade" open gear lubricant on equipment, which is operating near food being
processed.
NEVASTANE 5P7 Open Gear is a very tacky lube that forms a tenacious film providing load and wear protection
along with superior corrosion resistance from salt and food acids. It offers excellent moisture resistance and a
high temperature limit in excess of 300ºF.
NEVASTANE foodgrade lubricants assure long machine life while reducing contamination problems as required by
the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System (HACCP).
