DESCRIPTION
OPTIMOL OPTILEB® GT are gear oils with USDA H1 authorization, especially developed to meet the
special requirements in the food and beverage industries. They are based on synthetic oils and
contain carefully selected additives to prevent wear, oxidation and corrosion.
OPTIMOL OPTILEB® GT gear oils are in conformity and even exceed the requirements of DIN 51517
part 3 CLP.
APPLICATIONS
• For the special requirements in the food and beverage industries where there may be direct
exposure of the lubricated part to the edible product or its packaging
• For spur, angular and worm gears
• For gear motors of stirring machines, turners, packaging machines etc.
• For chain variators
• For rolling and sliding bearings
• For pumps and closed circulating systems

NOTES FOR USE
• Please observe the viscosity specified by the manufacturer.
• Good compatibility with conventional sealing materials.
• As OPTIMOL OPTILEB® GT is miscible with mineral oils no large-scale cleaning and flushing is
necessary during conversion.
(*) OPTIMOL OPTILEB® GT 150 and 320 only contain raw materials which are listed in the Guideline
of Security 21 CFR 178.3570 of the FDA and which are in conformity with USDA H1.
