STATERMIC NR
Grease
Special grease formulated with fluorinated fluid and solid fluorinated telomer for use in
high temperatures and/or where solvent or acid vapours are present.
APPLICATIONS
l STATERMIC NR is used:
- on all bearings and components exposed to solvent or acid vapours, or radiation,
- on all bearings exposed to temperatures reaching 300 °C intermittently and 250 °C
continuously,
- wherever equipment deterioration is observed, resulting in production stoppage and
frequent use of spare parts.
l Always avoid contamination of the grease by dust and/or dirt when applying. Preferably use
a pneumatic pump system or cartridges.

l Chemical stability: STATERMIC NR is very stable when in contact with strong and weak
acids, alcohols, halogens, oxidizing agents. STATERMIC NR can be used with liquid oxygen
and fuming nitric acid.
l Thermal stability: STATERMIC NR is very resistant to heat and oxidation.
Solubility: STATERMIC does not undergo alteration in the presence of polar or non-polar
organic solvents.
Caution: STATERMIC NR is soluble in highly fluorinated fluids .
l Resistance to radiation: owing to its composition, STATERMIC NR demonstrates very good
resistance to radiation. By way of example, in the presence of an “intensity of radiation” of
65,000 RAD/hr., samples subjected to a total dose of 30 MRAD are irradiated in 500 hours.
Gaseous depolymerization then occurs but no goo is formed.
