Product Description
Mobilcut ESC is a heavy duty emulsifiable machine degreasant and detergent for the cleaning and disinfection
of machine tool coolant sumps in one operation.
Benefits
Mobilcut ESC offers the following benefits:
· Dual purpose product suitable for the cleaning and sterilisation of machine tools and coolant sumps
· Low odour
· Removes and kills bacterial and fungal growths from machine slideways and sumps
· Emulsifies tramp oils and slimes
· Can be used during production to eliminate objectionable odours
· Free from sodium nitrite, secondary amines and phenolic compounds
Application
Mobilcut ESC is designed to be used at 1-3% as a cleaner to kill bacterial and fungal growths and remove
contaminating tramp oils and slimes.
It should be added at 1 -2% to an infected coolant system for 24-48 hours prior to cleaning. The exposed
surfaces of the machine should then be thoroughly cleaned with either neat cleaner or a 2%-3% emulsion in
water and the whole system flushed with clean water, plus 0.2% Mobilcut ST. A fresh charge of coolant should
then be introduced into the machine at the correct concentration.
Please consult your Mobil Representative if you require guidance on the cleaning procedure.
Note
Badly infected machines may need to be cleaned again after three to four weeks if coolant life is to be
maximised.
