DESCRIPTION
Designed to operate in coolant systems of the Copper Cold Rolling Mills. QUAKEROL CCR 100 SM is a “tailor-made” rolling oil, formulated to meet all the requirements of the rolling process, whatever the copper alloys and the severity of the operations.
USAGE
QUAKEROL CCR 100 SM is used as an emulsion in distilled water at a selected concentration, depending on the copper alloys rolled and the severity of the operations.
Its stability in distilled water as well as its oil particle size is defined according to the design of the coolant system. The selected chemicals used in the QUAKEROL CCR 100 SM as well as respecting the minimum concentration during usage, guarantee no stains formation on copper and alloys.
BENEFITS
- Stable emulsion guaranteeing a low consumption.
- Strong “oil film body” in the bite generating an excellent surface quality.
- Excellent lubrication properties.
- Good “plate-out” assuring the oil film in the “bite”.
- Allow medium reductions, so increase the productivity of the cold rolling mill operations. For high reductions, please consult your local Quaker Chemical Process Engineer.
- Generate a minimum of copper oxide sticking on the work rolls.
- Its low free fatty acids content does not generate too much copper soaps.
- Free of stains on pure copper and copper alloys.
- Compatible with the mechanical parts of the rolling mill.
- Compatible with most standard rejection processes.
- No human and ecological toxicity.
