Castrol Viscogen® KLK 28
Castrol Viscogen KLK 28 is a fully synthetic oil designed for “all loss” lubrication systems at temperatures up to +250°C/+482°F. Viscogen KLK 28 is formulated with additives capable of extreme load-carrying capacity.
Castrol Viscogen KLK 28 provides a transparent lubricating film of neutral odor.
Viscogen KLK 28 base fluids are selected for exceptional adherence to metal surfaces and extraordinary penetrability into tight clearances, insuring that load-bearing contacts are lubricated while resisting drippage and slingoff.

Uses
Application
Castrol Viscogen KLK 28 performance is maximized when dilution with other oils is avioded. When changing a system over from other products to Optimol Viscogen KLK 28, consult Technical Service. While Viscogen KLK 28 is fully miscible with mineral oils, their presence will lead to carbon build up. KLK 28 is incompatible with glycol-based synthetics-these must be purged from the lube system prior to changeover. Consult Technical Service for recommendations on how to conduct a change from a glycol based product.
For manual brush, drip, spray or central lubrication systems. Specifically developed for chain systems used in the particle board industry, including MDF and OSB plants.
