Mobilgard 5100 is an advanced cylinder oil that enhances the performance of 
two-stroke marine diesel engines operating on heavy fuel oil. Its balanced formulation can help to prevent cold corrosion, optimise feed rates and ultimately control costs.

Protection from ‘cold corrosion’
Mobilgard 5100 is specially formulated to help protect engines that are susceptible to high levels of ‘cold corrosion’. It has been proven to be a more cost effective solution for engines suffering from cold corrosion versus the use of a lower BN oil at a higher feed rate. 

In combination with the Mobilgard™ Cylinder Condition Monitoring programme, Mobilgard 5100 can help operators to cost-effectively optimise engine performance.
