Product Description
Mobil Greasrex 47 is a calcium complex thickened water-resistant grease with good load carrying capability. It is blended with highly refined mineral oils and a carefully selected additive combination to provide a high degree of chemical and thermal stability and extra protection against corrosion and wear. It is used for plain and roller bearings in industrial applications. Due to its outstanding performance characteristics, Mobil Greasrex 47 is suitable for use in centralised lubricating systems, particularly the dual line type which require short pressure release time. The Calcium Complex thickener makes it suitable for the lubrication of bearings subject to vibration and likely to suffer false brinelling. Mobil Greasrex 47 is based on mineral oils with a final viscosity of ISO VG 150.

Applications
Mobil Greasrex 47 is intended for use in a variety of industrial applications. It is suitable for use in plain and roller bearings in all kinds of machinery used in the steel and concrete industries such as in bearings of rolls in continuous casting equipment, in bearings of rolls in steel mills, bearings in conveyor lines for the transport of hot rolling material. Also for the lubrication of rotating furnaces in the concrete industry. Mobil Greasrex 47 is suitable for use in centralised lubricating systems, particularly the dual line type which require short pressure release time. It is also suitable for the lubrication of bearings subject to vibration and likely to suffer false brinelling. Mobil Greasrex 47 is resistant to hardening during storage even under the effect of thermal stresses. The operating temperatures are between -20°C and 120°C. With frequent re-greasing the operating temperatures may go up to 150°C. Mobil Greasrex 47 should not be mixed with other greases without advice from ExxonMobil.
