 Low-temperature grease, compatible with plastics Description Optitemp™ LG 2 UV is a fully synthetic polyalphaolefin-based lithium grease. Specially developed for use at low temperatures and in high speed bearings at normal temperatures. Good compatibility with plastics and elastomers. Optitemp® LG 2 UV has an UV indicator to confirm effective grease delivery to the lubrication contact. Application Door lock cylinders and door locks in vehicle construction. Roller and slide bearings, transmission bearings and wheel hubs for long-term and lifetime lubrication at low temperatures. High speed bearings (Nd factor up to 1 million). Grease-lubricated sliding surfaces at temperatures from -50°C/-58 °F to + 120°C/+248 °F. Advantages Page: 1/2 Easy startup at low temperatures Compatible with plastics such as polyacetal (e.g. "Delrin") and polyamide (e.g. "Ultramid", ”Nylon“) and with elastomers on a synthetic basis (e.g. NBR, CR) and NR, also compatible with rubber. A test may be necessary before use. No effect on topcoat of paintwork as used in vehicle construction.
